What we say...
A very agricultural-looking putter which looks a bit like it’s just come from the set of Heartbeat. But I do like the whole Heavy Putter concept and found this club awesome on putts in the three to eight foot range. However, on longer putts I found it less consistent and I struggled to judge speed and distance with a longer backswing. Without further practice I would hesitate to put it fully into play but I would love to keep it in the bag purely for those short knee-tremblers!
This putter features a cutting edge “humpback” design to raise the centre of gravity and a deep face to encourage a consistent sweet spot contact. The “rails” on the bottom of the putter allow it to sit perfectly on the green and eliminate “stubbing” the surface.
The head weighs approximately 465 grams, with a 250 gram weight in the grip end that creates a balance point 75% higher up the shaft than a conventional putter. Overall weight is approximately 850 grams.
