Cleveland TFI 2135 Satin 1.0 Putter Review: You need to know

By lowering ball speeds from the centre of the face and raising them for off-centre hits, 2135 putters produce uniform distance control no matter where you strike putts. Cleveland say a new satin finish has 50% more contrast, and the sightline of the traditional 1.0 blade is 21.35 millimetres off the ground to aid accurate alignment.

Cleveland TFI 2135 Satin 1.0 Putter Review: We say

In the current market the 1.0s clean lines, simple sightline and cracking face tech story feels like a lot of product for less than £120. We’ve raved about how the raised sightline helps golfers address putts from the centre of the bat more often before, and it’s just as useful and relevant on the 1.0s blade head as it is on the other models we’ve tested. At a time when lots of putters come as standard with huge oversized grips we we’re big fans of the Midsize Lamkin on the 1.0, our test pro thought it along with the aluminium face insert and polymer backer gave a lovely feel with excellent roll.

Do putter face grooves really make a difference?

Cleveland TFI 2135 Satin 1.0 Putter Review: Verdict

A cracking modern blade option for sensible money. Moderate levels of toe hang mean like a lot of traditional shape blades with plumbers necks (cranked hosels) the 1.0 is particularly well suited to golfers with an arcing putting stroke.
