Yonex VM 270 Game Improvement Irons Review

By their very nature, not many of the clubs in this test are actually used by tour professionals, but the V-Mass 270s have been in Colin Montgomerie’s bag since the beginning of the season. That should sound a note of warning if you’re looking for a lot of help from your irons. Although these are top-quality, high playable clubs, their lower trajectory and more compact headshape mark them out as a set to graduate to when you’re ready.

Verdict: Solid, if unexciting, mid-handicapper irons.
