What we say...

By sandwiching carbon between the face and cavity, feel is improved over most deep cavity irons with the Yonex Cyberstar Nanospeed and more weight can be repositioned around the clubhead’s perimeter.

These are bigger and more cumbersome than last year’s sleek Yonex VX irons, but they are just as capable. Our test pro was amazed how shots flew off the face  on a powerful, high flight.

The overall club is nice and light, which is ideal for those looking to increase clubhead speed and distance. Yonex is known for high-quality, pricey products, and the Nanospeeds fit the bill perfectly. These compete confidently against the best in the business.

Three types of head in one set. Long irons offer high launch, Mid irons have control, feel and forgiveness and cavity blade-like short irons for more feel.

Being a regular player using the right equipment irrespective of cost has not always been the issue. I have been a loyal user of Mizuno for 6 yrs Mx 20 then Mx23 .My iron play started to deteriorate. Not the clubs granted. However i believe overall the MX 25 are not the step change mizuno anticipated and i seriously doubt they are an improvement on the Mx23 .However back to YONEX i was actually about to buy some Mx 25,s when i enquired over a light flex Graphite shaft. The pro presented me with a Yonex Nanospeed Cyberstar in a superlight Graphite shaft the performance is outstanding.Slightly stronger lofts at sharp end of the set Eg 7 to wedge.I really was a mizuno enthusiast, however it would be wrong of me not to admit and accept that the Yonex clubs are simply more forgiving than the MX 25,s and with the composite design of the set (graphite and steelhead) you do get a smoother softer strike feel not normally associated with cast heads.I was custom fit 2Deg flat and 1/4 short the same spec as previous fitted with Mizuno. They are granted not the cheapest equipment However if you play regularly and therefore on a cost per round basis etc.You owe it to yourself to try these clubs they are that good!! i offer this review to fellow golfers as an honest feedback my handicap had moved from 10 back to 12 ihave played 4 rounds since receieving the custom fit clubs and shot 82,79,81,78.I am not a low handicapper!i am as inconsistent as the rest of the golfing fraternity. These clubs are simply stunning. The reason they do not score better in tests is the cost vs value for money. However if you are a regular player you will appreciate the payback.Happy Golfing!!
