What we say...

Titleist’s newest forged clubs stand out visually from previous models, with a striking Z-shaped design at the back that moves weight from heel to toe and positions the centre of gravity for optimum feel, ball speed and spin. The ‘B’ in ZB stands for ‘blend’, as these are a combo set starting with full cavities in the long irons moving into partial-cavities in the mid-irons and pure musclebacks in the short irons. Titleist is also releasing a ZM set, which all have a compact muscleback design and offer a further option for the most skilled golfers. The company’s entire 2008 range of irons is genuinely innovative and offers something for all golfers in the target range of scratch to 15 handicappers. We all loved the looks and new designs, and its great to see Titleist come out with some really cool-looking clubs after a few years of very traditional and rather uninspiring models. Most importantly, they performed fantastically well in all categories and returned terrific feel and sound feedback for our testers. Expect to see plenty of ZB Forged on Tour this year and a new lease of life for the Titleist iron.
