What we say...
Like the Burner XD, these are sure to fi nd favour with the distance obsessed. Although the r7 CGB Max were among the longest on test, we found their greatest assets to be the consistency on off-centre hits, due to the strong perimeter weighting, and a powerful ball fl ight. The CGB technology stands for Centre of
Gravity Back, which moves weight back to promote high launch and carry. These also flew very straight for our test pro, and only lose out on an award due to their chunkier feel and busy graphics.
These TaylorMades are the ultimate design for game improvement irons, a two-piece construction where the club face is created separately from the clubhead.
