What we say...

Not quite ready to handle the P7MB? Then TaylorMade’s P7MC might be just what you’re looking for.

The TaylorMade P7MC is the iron that’s opened most doors on tour for TaylorMade, so rather than scrapping its winning design and returning to the drawing board for a second generation, the brand have built on its original chassis with some very subtle tweaks. Expect a slightly longer blade length than the P7MB, with some contouring changes around the hosel and a slightly thinner top; all features which have been driven by tour player feedback.

The P7MC soles are outrageously narrow, while the slight perimeter-weighted design gives just a hint of forgiveness, a feature lots of modern pros want in their irons. If you’re good enough to use them, these are some of the best golf irons you’ll find today.

Just like the MB, the MC is five-times forged from 1025 carbon steel. A faceted back bar also allows the model to sit seamlessly alongside the MB as an ultimate players’ combo set-up.
