What we say...
Tech:
The 4-7 irons have powerful HT1770 maraging steel faces to maximise ball speed and distance, while a softer 431 steel in the 8-SW increases feel and your scoring potential. There’s a Tour V.T. sole to improve turf interaction which Srixon say helps dispersion and energy transfer. Action Mass Technology helps max out your club speed.
Our verdict:
The 355’s have a distinctly Japanese look. The head’s quite large, there’s not much offset, and forget the massive top edge expected of Super Game Improvement irons. For us the Z355 is a decent looking club that’s also playable which should ensure it appeals to the widest possible audience. In terms of performance it held its own for each tester, with above average performance for ball speed and carry distance at Simon’s lower swing speed. Both Chris’s felt the feel was really good even though the head isn’t forged.
Bottom line:
A very solid super game improvement iron, that plays as good as it looks. Srixon probably won’t be your first choice in this category, but with such a solid performance we reckon they deserve at least another look in 2016.

I am a Todays Golfer subscriber. I have never written in before but want to share my thoughts on my recent purchase of Z355 woods and irons. I have 5-PW, 10.5 Driver,3 wood, 3,4 Hybrids. WOW ! what a set of clubs. I play off 18 and have slow swingspeed (80mph). Only spent 6 hours at the range so far but taken to these immediately. They are so powerful and consistent even on miss hits. Whatever anybody says, for my hcp and swingspeed ACTION MASS works. I will certainly comment further after a few rounds and hopefully a medal win.
