What we say...
Srixon clubs have always been good quality and now the company is really pulling out all the stops to make its products even better. The I-506 better player irons may look like a traditional blade, but they come with the technology to produce a higher but penetrating golf ball flight and a degree of forgiveness not normally found in this style of club.
Powerful and forgiving, they are ideal for a better player who wants that little bit of extra reassurance on the occasional off-centre hit or for the mid-handicapper who strikes the golf ball fairly well most of the time.
Srixon better player irons are made from a soft, mild carbon steel and feature a new round radius sole with heel and toe cuts that allow the golf club to glide through all turf conditions.

I tested these hitting many shots and was fitted for them - I preferred them to Nike CCi forged and even the Mizuno Mp60 (slightly less forgiving than the I506). That said - I find they sit beautifully behind the ball and when struck well really do feel magnificent. I picked mine up for £399 in a golf store - bargain I think.

I picked these up on ebay brand new for £300 and i have to say i am thrilled with them. The trajectory is penetrating but not too high, they feel great on every striked and are forgiving on misshits. An ideal club for competent ball strikers.

I have been playing golf for 25 years and for 20 of them off a handycap of 3 or less never have i hit a iron that plays like a forged blade but with all the benifits of game improvement fetures.

These clubs are awesome , the stock nippon 950H shafts are really decent and help the ball fly on a high penetrating trajectory.suitable for all players.
