What we say...
The Srixon I-701 Tour iron is the latest offering in forged clubhead design and those behind it say it’s set to be a ‘modern classic’.
Developed with the top players in mind the Srixon I-701 Tour will offer pinpoint precision, superior feel and playability thanks to a pressed milled face, which will increase spin, even in wet conditions.
The sole of the golf club has been reshaped to reduce turf drag too and with a classic blade profile (read as scarily small for high handicappers!) it allows better players to work the ball like magicians.
Expect to see them in the shops later this year but as we went to press prices were yet to be confirmed.
2009 Review
Just like the John Letters Pro F90, Jon rated the looks only for Tom to be lses satisfied. In saying that, our pro liked the shape of the head and the thin topline combined with very little offset. This was one of the more difficult clubs in this section to hit.
