What we say...
The Srixon I-601 resemble an oversized blade shape, with less offset than other game-improvement irons, which will be to the liking of traditionalists. Weight technology throughout the set positions the centre of gravity in each iron to maximise forgiveness and control.
Excellent Nippon shafts and Lamkin grips show how serious Srixon is about being recognised as a quality brand, and that should be applauded at this price point. Our test pro was particularly impressed with the strong performance.
Even though the cavity backs are pretty small, making the clubs less forgiving than some, this is a fantastic set that performs very well from any situation.
Squarer impact from tungsten nickel weights that vary in position according to length of the club, plus undercut sole for high trajectory.
Price Options: £369 (Steel) £449 (Graphite)

After trying several sets of irons in the last 24 months. I was trying to find some irons that I liked from 4-PW not just restricted to 'I like these short irons, not so sure about the long irons'. I found the long irons EASY to hit and had a piercing mid flight trajectory. My No 4 Hybrid was redundant and that meant one less headcover in the bag. Distance was/is the same as any far more expensive irons I have tried, 'feel' with the PW just fine, half shots can be judged as easily as full ones. These are a bargain on Ebay (£100 or so) Give them a try, you will not regret it!

I have had my set of I-601s for a little over a year now so I have had time to get to know the strengths and flaws of these irons. As I have improved, the clubs have given me all that was needed to enable me to move to the next level. Great ball flight, forgiveness and power. When I purchased them I had intended to buy either Nike or Mizuno but I was hitting the Srixons with the cleanest strike right from the start. I wanted to buy a bigger name but could not find a reason to spend more.

Changed to these after my non-insured my G2 pings were nicked!! They look good & have a little less offset than the G2's, better than pings from rough but less forgiving. Golfers should improve their ball striking with these more also. Need to get used to the tinny impact sound though otherwise no complaints from me!!!

I only recently started playing golf and purchased a set of these after about 4 games. Absolutely love them, they are quite light headed and look great. I have had a few lessons and the pro at the driving range liked the feel of them too, so much that he was contemplating getting a set. Can't be bad then.

Recently bought a set of these irons, and they have definately slashed shots off my game! The Shock absorbtion in the WS system has given me that sweet feel i love when smacking one down the middle. Keep up the good work Srixon, and I'll keep a keen eye on Stenson's progress this season.
