The Python irons were one of the last sets we tested and they simply blew us away. Just the superb quality and two-tone satin and chrome finish makes the club stand out like a Ferrari on a forecourt of family saloon cars at your local garage.

Although the soles of the irons are quite wide, you really don’t notice this as the club sets up beautifully behind the ball. After consistently sending 4-irons sailing to the end of the practice range we were both babbling like excited fools – not only are the clubs easy to launch, they also felt fantastic.

Some purists might not take to the deep cavity on the long irons as this can be seen protruding at address. The irons do have some offset but, unusually in a mid-priced iron, it is not offensive to look at and really helps boost confidence. This is a forgiving, well-manufactured iron at a very reasonable price.
