What we say...
The Ram FX9 budget irons performed well without making us drool. It has a simple, unfussy head with a big, deep cavity which feels excellent when hit. A pretty standard shaft and decent grip top the golf club off in reasonable style without really setting it apart from the competition.
A good standard, no-frills, solid all-rounder which will suit lots of club players. The price is about right, too.
Ram FX9 features a deep scoop cavity back golf head in a traditional 3-SW makeup. Design allows maximum perimeter weighting to be distributed, producing a larger sweetspot.

Have been using these for some months now on various courses and am enjoying them. they do exactly what it says on the tin and are great irons for any beginner. For well under £200 you get 3 - SW, arming you with a full set. I've tested every one of them (more through necessity than want!) and they are an easy and forgiving set. The only problems I've had have been due to "operator error". Now every time I go out, I know that as long as I relax and do it right, the clubs always perform. One day I'll need to "upgrade" I suppose, but as long as I look after these, I'm looking for quite a few years use out of them yet.
