2013 Irons Test
James felt it looked like the budget club it is, but was surprisingly workable and forgiving. Joel said it was heavier than expected and a little chunky but enjoyed the classic shape. Kit felt the clubhead wasn’t as refined and had a thick topline, but was very hot out of the middle. Chris agreed, saying it was up there with the best in this category when hit from the sweetspot. James hit this very straight, averaging a dispersion of just one yard.
Hardened 17-4 stainless steel has been used to create a high-strength iron head, while a cavity-back gives lots of forgiveness on off-centre strikes and weight in the head has been moved to the edges, making it as strong as possible.
