What we say...
The fantastic Ping G10 irons topped the TG charts. Ping has fine-tuned its previous irons to come up with an awesome design and finish, to attract golfers looking for something of technical innovation and genuine quality to put in their bag. The company’s engineers have optimised the amount of offset in the long irons, which helps to make them more forgiving, while reducing offset in the short irons to increase control. These were our most consistent irons on test, and although not the longest, they proved extremely forgiving and incredibly easy to launch. By creating a new custom tuning port shape, the hitting area allows a consistent ball speed from the face, while an elastomer CTP insert controls vibrations for a solid feel. Ping has a loyal following, so this new model is bound to do well. But the quality and performance of these Ping G10 irons could tempt many other golfers, too.

2009 Review
Yes, another Ping success and, yes, the G10s have been around for a while but their quality means they cannot be ignored. Again they aren’t anything special in looks terms – but our boys still rated them highlt. The standard of shots hit was also hugely impressive. The perimeter weighted head features a new cavity shape, wider sole and the extreeme low toe weighting increases the MOI i.e. loads of forgiveness! This led to incredible dispersion stats and John found it difficult to mis-hit them.

I have recently purchased these irons, and wow, they are fantastic!. I have only played a couple of 9 hole Par 3 rounds but these clubs have improved my distance, accuracy and height. At this stage in my golfing life, I couldn't have asked for more. It was well worth the 3 hours i spent in American golf trying out several different clubs.

took delivery of my g10's last week after 6months of playing with g2's which were brilliant clubs, helping me reduce my handicap from 23 on 5th april to 16 today. im hoping the g10's will help me now down to that magical single figures. after only one round with the g10's ive found the long irons so much easier to hit. i always left the 3/4/5 irons out of the bag in favour of rescues. but after hitting well on the range i decided to take out the full set and i wasnt disappointed. im not a big hitter anyway so it was accuracy more than distance i was looking for. the g10's didnt let me down even in very windy conditions. id fully recommend the g10's to everyone. happy golfing :-)

Managed to win these in a TodaysGolfer competition. Got them custom fitted and ended up with regular flex shafts, 1 degree upright lie angle, and slightly larger grips. Took 6 days for delivery and loving them. Only been playing for 6 months and have noticed such a difference. When I hit them well they are dead straight and really good distance. When I mis-hit, as I'm prone to do, The distance is still good and it still goes in the general direction I was aiming in. Example, was playing today, in the rough to the right of the 18th fairway, 160yards to the pin, didn't get underneath at all, hit the ball with the heel and still ended up 8 inches from the pin. Complete fluck for that shot but would never have happened with the Callaway X-tours that I was playing with before, great clubs but not good for a new player. Loving these clubs, really like the look fo them and would recomend them for any new player.

After being lucky enough to have had 5 years at st andrews uni, I'm afraid I can't agree with dougie75 as I always got excellent service in St Andrews. However it's the clubs we're here to read about and I have to say these are the best clubs I have ever owned. Yes they aren't as easy to shape the ball with as some irons, but other than that they are faultless. They are good from every lie, including divots, Ping have excellent customer service and the fact you can get the wedges fitted too makes a massive difference. This is my first set of Pings and I will have these for years even though my handicap is now at 12. Thanks to these clubs I've dropped 4 shots in 4 months just because I'm hitting more greens in regulation.

Having had my G5s stolen last summer I went out and ended up buying these and having them fitted. Oddly where my G5s went right to left, these go left to right, but never mind! The irons are also about half a club shorter in ball distance but feel great and I feel confident in knowing where I'm putting the ball. The utility is a gem, a crisp crack as club on ball and it cuts through light rough. Ball flight is true and now that I'm getting used to it off the tee it's a great go to club. The driver is very forgiving of any off centre hit and when everything aligns perfectly the ball goes a long long way; this from a skinny boy not an 18 st monster! If you haven't bought them; go out and buy them.

i bought the Ping G10 irons after being blown away with the G10 driver, went and got fitted for them took just short of 2 weeks for delivery but was it worth the wait. irons are so forgiving and look good behind the ball, instill a great deal of confidence when stood over the ball. i had Callaway X20's but imo these clubs surpass the X20's by a long way. i bought 4 - Pw but think i will be buying a 3 iron too when funds allow. all in all great clubs

find the new g10s very forgiving the large head instills confidence when setting up to the ball, these are the first good set of clubs ive bought after starting with a starter set and the custom fitting has helped giving a better suited lie angle. id recommend these to any mid to high handicapper looking to drop shots off their handicap

sit lovely behind the ball and very easy to control in wet or dry conditions a great asset to my goal of getting to scratch or less

These clubs are excellent. Forgiving on mishits, wide sole helps stop fat shots, nicly weighted. Durable and glare free finish to club heads. Great looks and excellent ping quality. Nice feel from club when striking the ball, giving the ball a good high launch angle. If your in the market for a new set of clubs i recommend you give them a demo before making your decision to buy any of the others on the market. I bought the 5-SW and bought the 24 degree hybrid to replace the long irons as i hit the hybrid better than the long irons. I think they will be very popular with any golfer with 10-28 handicap.

I just bought the G10's Had my G2's for years and loved them ,but the new 10's are great.I do agree however the golf marketing world has become like the rag trade

Having not been overly impressed with the fitting[st andrews] or delivery times ,i have to admit these irons far surpass the callaway x18s they replaced[not fitted i hasten to add].They might appear a bit chunky, but are very easy to hit and gave me a more than a few biride oppurtunities.so for now ,i love them
