What we say...

The irons feature Nike’s Powerbow technology that gives the clubs an extremely deep centre of gravity and a wider sweetspot for a high, powerful launch and a forgiving feel. Nike engineers have also added 50g of weight to the powerbow by using an undercut behind the face. Looks-wise, the Machspeeds had a bit of the “Optimus Prime” – the back of the head certainly screamed “aggression” and while our threesome weren’t massively convinced, the punch that the irons packed and the tight dispersion it offered more than won them over. Alex commented that the club looked great at address while Colin suggested that the club had a really appealing shape. Craig got some good distance with his 6-iron (175 yards on average) and felt they were very strong clubs out of the middle of head and also very solid when you didn’t quite get it out of that area.
