What we say...
MOI might be the latest buzzword in drivers but Nicklaus have taken it to a whole new level with these Polarity MTR irons. They claim they deliver the highest MOI (Moment of Inertia) of any iron on the market. How? By distributing weight as evenly as possible from the toe right through to the hosel. This gives maximum twist resistance and makes it easier for us to hit straighter and longer shots on off-centre strikes. Clay Long, club designer at Nicklaus Golf, says, “We all know the importance of a great drive, but our cutsomers are asking for equipment to help get to the green. Traditional weighting on irons is toe to heel. With our new irons, weighting has extreme distribution from the toe right to the hosel.”
The Polarity MTRs also have a lower centre of gravity from their wide, cambered sole which gives higher ball flights plus progressive offset and sole widths. A standard set comes with 3-PW and a special Plus set has the new Claw Hybrids in place of 3 and 4-irons plus a sand wedge.
