What we say...

Mizuno is a big hitter when it comes to irons, and it has built a golf brand around producing some of the best irons on the market.

The MX-19s are the company’s only cast set, but you just know they benefit from the same experience and knowledge their Japanese craftsman gain from making some of the best irons around. We really liked everything about the set.

The satin finish gives a classy, sophisticated appearance and the chunky design should inspire even the less confident golfer into better ball striking. The deep pocket cavity back feels really good and helps to keep the head stable at impact, transferring more power to the ball even when you hit bad shots.

A good, solid all-round set that will help higher handicappers improve and mid handicappers play to the best of their ability.

The Mizuno MX-19 irons push Mizuno's pocket cavity engineering to its limit, to produce a forgiving, high ball flight throughout the set.

Mizuno Irons User Reviews

  • 5 out of 5 Brilliant!

These irons are simply brilliant. I am a 15 handicapper, and have always sruggled with long irons. I had a set of Lynx Black Cat before and could not hit anything better than a 7 iron. With these Mizunos i am hitting a 4 iron unbelieveably well and straight. They have transformed my game. I totally recommend them. At address, they dont look like a massively forgiving game improver. They look fairly compact in size and offer very good feel. I also got a cracking deal and can see myself playing with these for a while.

I have had these irons for half a year now. They hit pretty well. I hit i slight draw with all the clubs. I use the Betinardi putter which is amazing. They spin pretty well. i hit my 5 iron about 210 yeards off the tee which i am extremely happy with. Thanks Mizuno Bye

Brilliant irons. I am (unfortunately) a high handicap, however, after trying various sets (from a range of makes / pricee ranges) I found that these were the easiest to play with. They look good and the weight of the club head means it is easy to be aware of where your back swing position is (a massive bonus for anyone trying to improve their swing) without being labourous. I am very happy with the clubs and would recommend them. This was further backed up by my local pro-shop where they can't get enough of these sets, every time a set comes in , it flies straight off the shelf and out the door!

  • 5 out of 5 Mizzy MX-19

When I was looking for a new set of irons late last year, they weren't reviewed anywhere. After spending what seemed hours, trying different clubs, namely MX19, Callaway X something or other and Ping G5s to name a few. The choice came down to the G5s or the MX19s.At £200 less the Mizzys won through, they also looked better. I can't say that my game has improved drasticly, or that my handicap has dropped. BUT my iron play has improved massively, and when I'm striking well these clubs are awesome. The long irons are easier to hit than my rescue woods, so in the cupboard they've gone. The MX19s do seem to weigh more than most clubs so lugging them around is a bit more of a pain. Overall verdit. Good looking, credible brand name, easy to hit, great long irons, excellent value and for me (a high h'capper) a great set of clubs. I'm a Mizzy convert, and as soon as my son is old enough to swing a club, he'll be getting some Mizzys too.

I think these are a great set of clubs, from the moment i first hit the ball i could tell these were for me, i played (noticed played) off of 25, now iam 19 in just a few rounds, that says it all for me. I can hit shots straighter and longer now and iam enjoying the game more. Overall 5 stars
