What we say...

If ever there was a classical-looking golf club, this would be it. Chris felt that it delivered everything a better player would want; Jon thought the clubs were the best looking in the test. Dave’s dispersion stats were a little high, but agreed the clubs were gorgeous. Mizuno don’t make bad irons – and here’s another example.

The Mizuno MP-68 Irons are available at £95 per club.

A classic Mizuno Tour blade that delivers exacting shot-making for professionals and highly skilled amateurs.

After research into vibration and sound (modal analysis), Mizuno R&D specified the frequencies required to create pure feedback and also the techniques by which to deliver them.

MP-68's scalloped muscle back and shorter hosel allow a lower, more centered COG location for a penetrating, workable ball flight. Neutral bias allows shots to be shaped both left and right.

A 3D muscle pad enables Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forged construction to deliver the purest feedback of any Mizuno iron.

Head shape, offset and turf interaction are designed around feedback from Mizuno's Tour Workshops on the legendary MP-33. A more cambered top edge, straighter leading edge and compact PW create a look that surpasses even Mizuno’s previous blades.

  • 4 out of 5 Mx 68 feel good factor

    By Ironic john

Just bought a second hand set of 68s, tried on the range and seemed more forgiving so bought them. Ha d first round with them few days later and the difference is astonishing, was using two sets of clubs during winter mizuno mx17s and wilson fg17 blades, the mx 68s marries the best of both sets together longer and almost as forgiving as the mx17 and with the workability and satisfaction of the fg17. To put it in perspective, two par 3s 150yds and 136yards, would normally use 6/7 iron and 8/9 iron wind dependent, with 68s I hit 8 iron and then pw both to within 3 - 4 feet of hole. Confidence was sky high after that. Thank you mizuno.
