What we say...
Put simply, Mizuno makes fantastic quality irons and it’s hard to imagine an irons test that Mizuno wouldn’t do well in. Well, this test is no exception, and the grainfl ow-forged carbon steel MP-67 irons scored consistently across all categories and particularly well in looks, feel and image. Their superb feel is enhanced by a fi ve per cent headweight shif t in the strike area. As Seve used to say: “There’s nothing quite like a Mizuno,” and our testers were all admirers of the classic styling, combined with the familiar cut-muscle technology. Perhaps this familiarity held both
MP models back behind bolder and newer designs, but there is no doubting their quality and performance, and they are bound to sell in big numbers.

bought a set of these even though i play off 21 as i couldnt get away from the classy looks and style, took them to the range and didnt find them hard to hit at all even being a highish handicapper, do look smaller behind the ball than game improver irons but i like the smaller heads. when one comes out the sweet spot you know about it, feels heavenly.

I had them 1/2 degree upright which made them the same as my Titleist 690MB's, however they were 1/2 inch shorter as standard. I am a single figure golfer, so am reasonably consistent with my irons. Initially when I hit the ball it felt so soft off the face and I felt compelled to hit it harder to get the same feel i had become used to with the 690's. This was not good for my game and I struggled judging the distance. They were at first about 1 club shorter than the 690's and I changed back for about 3 months. Eventually I could not resist them and I put them back in my bag and persisted with them. Now I have become used to the softer feel and have returned to swinging easier the distance has become consistant and comparable to the Titleist. They are easy to shape a shot either way and I find them quite forgiving. Would recommend for certain

If so these should be perfect. Actually they're not that bad; they fly high, spin well and feel as good as they look. I'd never say they were forgiving but for a set of blades I reckon they are fair. So easy to shape that I often over cut and you may become a club shorter. However they sit so pretty in the bag and so pretty at set up I'm sure that your ego will still be intact, even if you're hitting a 7 iron from 150.
