What we say...
A decent return to the TG Test arena from MacGregor and our two amateur testers were impressed with the forgiveness levels these irons offered. Colin noted that even his bad shots turned out to be good with these irons, and he also liked the colour and shape of the head. Alex said he couldn’t really fault the irons and Craig found them very consistent. Overall the MT Mid was a club that didn’t stand out in one particular area, but was solid in all.

The MacGregor MT Mid Irons are very appropriate for amateurs as they are very forgiving, and solid in all other areas.
Designed with the tradition of creating game improvement products with a classic sense of style, the MT MID iron pulls out all the stops. With the everyday player in mind, MacGregor have capitalised on the Tour-inspired shape found in the MT irons.
The MT MID irons, however, provide a slightly shallower profile, a medium offset and a wide sole with a deep undercut cavity. This lowers and deepens the centre of gravity to generate higher ball launch. The 17-4 stainless steel body with Cup Face 360° technology means there are no welds anywhere on the face. The entire face is the sweet spot. therefore even off-centre or miss-hits will send your ball directly on target.
The Cup Face in the MT MID design features a slightly triangular muscle in the impact area to further fine tune power and feedback at impact. The MT Mid-size irons come fitted as standard with a quality FEMCO Multi-Taper steel shaft and comes in A, R and S flex options. To complete the perfect set-up a special Lamkin MacGregor Crossline Tour grip is fitted and comes in custom sizing.
