What we say...

2013 Irons Test

James liked the Black PVD finish, but not the head shape – it didn’t strike him as a better player club because of the cavity. For him, the ball came off the face well with a high flight. Joel noted there was more offset than others in the players category. He enjoyed the classic look, but would prefer the silver satin finish. Kit also felt it was a touch on the chunky side and got a higher ball flight than he was used to. Joel averaged a high 173 yards. James’ and Kit’s dispersion was seven and six yards respectively.

Originally used by Fred Daly to win the Open Championship in 1947 and a host of pros throughout the 50s, 60s and 70s, Master Model Blades have been reinvented for the 21st century. Individually forged from 1020 carbon steel and featuring a concave muscle design for a touch of forgiveness, they have a thin sole and topline preferred by confident ball strikers. Each set is assembled in John Letters’ workshop in St Andrews.
