Technology
A visible trench called a Speed Channel behind the face and on the sole delivers faster ball speeds while a cavity insert behind the face enhances feel.
Looks At address, these irons sit very much in the middle in terms of the balance between not being too large but still looking easy to hit. Contemporary styling from the back, they’ll really smarten up your bag.
Feel/Sound
Not as firm or clicky as I was expecting, perhaps down to the cavity insert behind the face. They felt solid generally at impact across the face, like I was getting some assistance with the hit.
Forgiveness
With the offset and the Speed Channel, there’s a lot of technology to help your bad shots. I got a few super hot shots out of the middle that flew further than I was expecting, but overall the dispersion was relatively tight from both left-to-right and front-to-back, which was pleasing to see.
Performance
Game improvers will enjoy the benefits of the upgraded technology from Cobra in these irons. There’s slightly more distance, though not as much as I was expecting, but more importantly I got more ball speed on shots struck low on the face and in the heel and toe, which could be the difference between finding the green or the bunker. The look of these irons is superb, the white scoreline on the bottom makes alignment easier, and the performance through the set was reassuringly predictable.

Having been away from the game for over ten years due to recurring injury, I wanted to test out a lot of clubs to make sure what I was buying would suit my needs now as yet to be handicapped golfer, and also when I improve my game. I boiled all the clubs down to these and the Ping G30's, and these won me over with their consistency, forgiveness and length. The dispersion of the shots is truly remarkable when you are hitting in a simulator, and on the range or the course they are equal to that. The more I use them, the more confidence I get. They are slightly more heavy than other clubs in this category which I like, and when you connect with any part of the face you do truly feel like you are always hitting solid shots. I can't recommend these highly enough if you are out to improve your game and want to enjoy yourself whilst you're doing it. Full marks.

I am a 70+ golfer with a 17 handicap. After playing since 17, with older age, I needed some help. I was using another brand of clubs with senior flex that was touted as the answer for older players. But my game was not improving. I was not able to gain distance with accuracy. With Fly-Z in Senior, I am beginning to see improvement in both distance, control, and feel. Plus, these are really smart looking clubs. They don't look like shovels and, with the thinner topline, look like a better player's irons. Looking forward to breaking 80 again!

Thick top line but the distance was great. Long and consistently so and felt hot from a wide area of the face. Very solid. Easy to strike from the middle. It had a loud sound but I like that.

Looks smaller at address than other models in this category, reducing confidence slightly. Seemed to lack forgiveness from heel and toe in terms of distance, but accuracy from strike points across the face was impressive.
