What we say...
Following the success of the HiBORE iron, the latest addition to the Cleveland family – the HiBORE Xli hybrid irons – are built for distance.
These new puppies emply something called ‘Distance Drivern Geometery’, which to you and us means the irons benefit from the lowest and deepest CG. This in turn gives the golfer an incredibly high level of forgiveness in terms of getting the ball up and out of all manner of horror lies – as well as a stellar performance in the distance stakes. It’s a great-feeling club too because, like its predeccesor, the HiBORE Xli is the only hybrid iron with full hollow construction from 3-iron to wedge.
Cleveland have stepped outside the boundaries of the highly successful HiBORE Irons to bring you even more distance, more forgiveness and more consistency. The only hybrid iron product with full hollow construction throughout the entire set, providing a consistent feel and a seamless transition between clubs.
Hi HiBore Xli Bloom irons feature added weight in the toe and heel and the centre of gravity is low and deep for maximum MOI, forgiveness and distance.
The sole design features toe and heel drag relief zones while engineered recesses reduce turf interaction for increased control and playability.
There is a seamless visual transition from long to short irons with progressive offset. The long irons feature a bigger chassis and increased MOI while the short irons have a more compact shape and thinner topline.
