The RIP Speed 2 irons are the most slimline cavity-back offerings from Benross. The heads are made of soft 431 carbon steel and are attached to TT Dynamic Gold steel shafts. They feature minimal offset, a thin topline and come with a cobalt finish. RRP: £399 (4-PW)

Long & straight
Got these off ebay as I have a couple of Benross utility clubs which I like. The irons look great & feel smaller & more like a blade at address than a game improvement club / cavity back. They took a little while to get used to, but having realised that slowing the swing down a bit is always the answer, I am now hitting them further & straighter than any irons I have had before. The trajectory is more penetrating than cavity backs & I'm almost hitting one club less right from the 4 to the 9. Underrated & really good value at current prices.
