What we say...
The traditional appearance and the Ben Hogan heritage enforces the quality of this lovely progressive set of golf blades. Only really useful for the consistent golf player, even with shallow cavity back long irons.
Not the most forgiving golf club we tested but you can’t fault the looks and quality of the Ben Hogan Apex FTX. Even if they don’t appeal to the mass golf market we would all love to be able to hit them.
Designed for the most demanding golf players and shot-makers. Forgiving long golf irons combined with blade style short irons for increased feel and control.

I bought these clubs 2 weeks ago and have enjoyed the experience of using them immensely. I currently play off a 17 handicap but have been looking for new irons to take me to a new level. I was previously playing Mizuno T-Zoid Oversized and these had been playing well for me but they were over 10 years old and needed replacing. While at the generic golf store I tried out 2 other clubs of differing quality and supposed player ability. The Hogans were by far the better club. Still flying high and true on off centre shots but the feel and responsiveness of these clubs is truly beautiful. I would recommend these clubs to anyone of anyone ability especially considering the price for these clubs is now 1/2 that compared to the published price.

I have to disagree with Todays golfer review.I've had cleveland Ta3 forged irons for a few years, then i decided it was time for a change and found these. I thoght these were softer and more forgiving ...even if the 8,9 and E are blades. Very solid clubs and come with the APEX shafts made by Royal precision...Great shafts...!!! Don't be scared if you have never hit clubs like this..You will surprised. i love em.
