Wilson Staff FYbrid Fairway Wood Review

Impressive Wilson FYbrid worked for everyone and is highly recommended. Padraig Harrington is a big fan and the 19.5° version is a great way to bridge the gap between irons and woods.

2009 Review

A split decision in our team on this wood-cum-hybrid. Opinion was divided on the looks of this club with George and Chris N feeling it looked more like a larger hybrid club than a 3-wood. In actual fact, this is exactly what it is designed to do – bridge the gap between fairway woods and hybrids. George loved the performance in all situations while Chris N enjoyed hitting it off the fairway and from the rough. In contrast, Kit and pro Chris found it to be a better bet off the tee because of the deeper face and more penetrating ball flight. Very much a split decision!
