What we say...
It has more weight forward than the previous RBZ Stage 2 and a new Speed Pocket. The heads also get smaller as the loft increases. “Golfers were asking for an SLDR fairway that has a lower and more forgiving profile,” says Todd Beach, VP of Product Development for TaylorMade. “This fairway has a shallower face and larger head engineered to deliver distance and playability.”
Details: £189. Available in 15-23° in 2° increments.

I'm playing the 15 degree SLDR with a stiff Fujikura shaft and I absolutely love this club. It has replaced my ageing Cleveland Hi-Bore 15 degree 3-wood which I enjoyed using and had confidence in, and I must admit I was really surprised at how much better the new club is. It's quite heavy, which I like, and hits the ball almost as far as my Cobra AMP driver but with a much better dispersion. It's great off the tee and is not difficult to use from the rough. I've still got a Hi-Bore 5-wood in the bag, but only until I get the 19 degree SLDR!
