What we say...

The Ping G5’s large, forgiving head is ideal for club golfers who can’t bring themselves to use a rescue club. A bucket-load of confidence is generated by the golf ball-sized half-moon alignment on the crown, which is shared by the Ping G5 driver.

The Ping G5 steel head and super springy face sound great and reinforce confidence even when you hit a bad one. The Ping G5’s internal weighting locates lots of weight low and deep in the head, which will lead to you launching shots on a super-high, soft-landing trajectory. As long as you don’t want to dig golf shots out of knee-deep rough, you’ll have a whale of a time hitting towering shots from 200 yards out.

The PING G5 Fairway Wood has a large head which offers improved weight placement for improved stability, control and forgiveness.

I've got this in 3 wood and have to say it's a great bit of kit. Excellent noise and ball flight

Its just so easy to get away from the fairway and onto the green on those long par 5s

I play off 10 & have always struggled with woods from the fairway but I've now found the answer with these clubs. OK so they're not great from the rough but I've got a rescue club for that. Now I've gone from avoiding woods off the deck for my second shot on par 5's to thinking is it the 3 or 5 wood this time!
