What we say...
We reckon this is the best-looking 3-wood Ping has ever made, and it certainly jumps right to the top of our must-have list. The powerful ball flight packs a hefty punch in the distance stakes (our pro carried it 252 yards) and will provide a great alternative to hitting the big stick off the tee.
Add to that excellent forgiveness and you have a club that offers versatility from the tee, the fairway or out of the rough.
We particularly loved the crisp acoustics – it sounded like a firecracker going off – and the effortless launch and ball flight height you get from this 3-wood. That’s mainly thanks to the large weight pad on the sole of the wood, which has lowered the centre of gravity to make the G10 incredibly easy to hit from the fairway.
We also love the fact that the G10 is available in a draw version.
With such a solid all-round performance it is impossible to pick fault with the Ping G10 3-wood – it simply ticks all the boxes.

Strengths – Great looking, forgiving and immense acoustics Weaknesses – shaft easily marks The latest fairway wood from Ping, the G10, has so far been a pleasure to hit. The club is classic in design with traditional looks, which has the effect of boosting confidence upon impact. The design allows the centre of gravity to be pushed lower towards the base, which promotes a greater launch angle; so the ball should fly further and on a more controllable flight path. The shallow but wide face (increasing the useful area) has allowed my off centre hits to not receive the harsh punishment which most 3 woods would incur. Upon impact the crisp sound is reassuring, so the acoustics on the whole are excellent. The club offers great versatility and distance, but my slight concern has been the easily marked shaft. This is due to the vivid colour schemes which Ping offer. Overall I have been truly impressed by this club, and cannot envisage a change in the near future!

bought a strong 3 wood Ping G10 after being blown away with the Ping G10 driver i had recently purchased, have found this a little harder (surprisingly) to hit than the driver, maybe it is the fact the had is 1/2 the size. the shots that i have caught correctly have gone along way and straight too, i will master it just a matter of time.

Absolutely love hitting with this club. Either off the tee or the fairway. very easy to hit, nearly as far as my driver. Cannot find any fault!

I agree with everyone that it is eay to hit and with the V2 shaft in it a club that does go far... but... golf being a personal sport i find that when striking the ball the ball feels very heavy off the face and that make the club feel clumsy. but great shaft and good design.

Easy to hit - long, off the deck and fairway. Finally good looks and easy to align. What moore could you ask for.

I bought this club a few months ago now in a 15.5 deg stiff and what a club. The compact head looks great behind the ball on the fairway or tee and fills you with confidence. As for the distance, that is truely amazing adding a good 20yards.

I've got this in a 15.5 stiff and love it. The smaller head designmeans it inspires so much more confidence than the g5 3 wood (which I had before this). I'm get 10-15 yards extra distance too. Of all the G10 range this club has made the best leap forwards over the G5.

added 20 yards on my r7 3 wood sounds like a firecracker when u strike i,ve got the 15.5 loft stiff shaft every1 asked what i was using on the range it sounded and flew that well

I bought the 18.5 loft 5 wood with Prolaunch FW stiff shaft. This is a great club to look at and the longer heel-to-toe length gives you confidence at address. Distance is nearing my G2 3 wood! The sound is beautifully crisp and the club is very forgiving. I traded in my G5 hybrid (16 deg.) and couldn't be more pleased. If you prefer more traditional fairway woods and don't get on with hybrids try one of these. Great choice of shafts as usual from Ping.
