Today’s Golfer Fairway Wood Test 2011
Tested: August 2011
Testing panel:
Stuart Priestley (Belfry Pro)
Michael Gow (HCP 7)
David Connor (HCP 10)
Alan Doodson (HCP 17)
The testers felt the IWD2 was a better performer off the tee than the fairway because the head looked a little larger at address and was longer from front to back. Off the fairway, Stuart felt the ball flight was weak. The feel off the face also wasn’t great – however the performance was decent.
Distance: 3.8
Dispersion: 4.2

The Forgan IWD2 Fairway Wood features an oversized head with an enlarged sweetspot for more forgiveness and a stainless steel construction. Also, with a black crown, polished gun metal sole and satin gun metal face, these woods just look like they'regoing to crush the ball.
