What we say...

Tech:

A medium sized fairway with simple front to back CG adjustability allowing you to dial in either a penetrating or towering ball flight say Cobra.  A Speed Channel around the perimeter of the face increases ball speed no matter where you hit shots on the face.

Our verdict:

Look at the F6 and Cobra’s King Ltd fairways side by side and its difficult to see much difference in head shape, but delving deep into our data we could see a different picture. As solid as the F6 is, it was over shadowed on this occasion by a seriously strong performance from its older sibling the Cobra King Ltd. We don’t often recommend making the game more difficult than it needs to be but we saw ball speed and carry distance jump up with the sole weight in the forward position, which in theory makes the club a bit less forgiving. But with such a tiny trade off in terms of forgiveness for a gain of 5 yards of carry we reckon it’s a switch worth making so long as you can confidently launch shots off the deck.

Bottom line:

The F6 is a very good-looking fairway, some snazzy crown graphics help disguise how big the club head is which we reckon is a look many golfers will like. If you’re after maximum power however the King Ltd packs a bigger punch.
