What we say...
Our test pro wasn’t overly excited by the Callaway X Series, as he struggled to hit the 7-wood consistently well. We didn’t have that problem, but the Callaway X Series wouldn’t be our first choice 7-wood golf club.
Some of the other test golf clubs visibly performed better, and the Callaway X Series just failed to ignite our imagination. The small head nestles in longer grass easier than the other 7-woods, and the relatively low, penetrating golf ball flight would be useful for the golfer craving distance. But it’s not great if versatility is what you’re after, and there are better options available.
We’d suggest the Callaway FT-Hybrid as a great alternative 7-wood: its shorter shaft increases confidence, consistency and accuracy, which should help you to score better.

Very good club, easy to use off the tee and the fairway. Small head that allows you to make various shots with ease, Fujikura shaft is a great accompliment to this club and performs very well. Only small negative is that it sounds a little odd. Well worth the money and will be in my bag for years to come.

Good club, Awsome off the tee but hard to get any height off the fairway without a fade. Cannot be called a "fairway" wood.
