What we say...
The Callaway 07 Big Bertha fairway woods have been adapted from the modern driver head features creating a fairway wood with a larger head volume and shallower face designs resulting in increased forgiveness and confidence at address. The larger head volumes increase the Moment of Inertia by reducing twisting on off-center hits, resulting in straighter shots. A modified consistent alignment sole means the club head rests on two distinct areas of the sole, eliminating the tendency of the head to rock back and forth, helping ensure that shots start on-line. It also provides improved turf interaction from a variety of lies. The Callaway 07 Big Bertha fairway woods have the patented Callaway Golf Core technology that maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2 increase discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the club head; and Tru-Bore provides improved feel and club head control. The 07 Big Bertha woods have a longer, shallower face with a lower leading edge providing a larger effective hitting area and ease in getting the ball airborne for optimum trajectory. The longer face (heel to toe) increases MOI while the lower leading edge increases confidence at address.
