What we say...
Chris Ryan, our test pro, loved the look of this and couldn’t believe it sat in the family of budget clubs in our test. It’s well finished and has a lovely shape, giving it the appearance of a fairway wood that’s far more expensive.
The V5 has clearly been designed with the mid to high handicapper in mind. It has a slightly bigger clubhead than others on test, which filled us with confidence and made it look impossible to mishit. The wide, deep face was great for hitting shots off the tee and gave a low, deep centre of gravity that delivered a high-launching ball flight. The bigger shape prevents it from being the most versatile club on test, but we did find the sole was good at sliding through clingy fairway lies.
What set this apart from other budget clubs was the high-quality, high-spec shaft (the Aldila NVS75) and a really decent Golf Pride grip. There are no fancy bells and whistles to rave about, but at well under £100 you really can’t go wrong.

ive played with all types of clubs over the years and paid silly money like £120 for taylormade r7 3wood.benross v5 is an outstanding club.you can swing it with ease.200-245 yards straight and the style is ace.has we no titlelist made benross and there sweet spot has done all mid to high handicap proud.even the likes of me i play of a 5.and i own full set of benross clubs.all my other clubs i gave to the juniors at my club because im vey happy with them.hitting greens on par 5s and long par 4s is an ego boost for me.never judge a book by its cover until youve tried them.once you have your be proud
