What we say...
Yonex may not be everyone’s first choice for the latest driver, but with Monty now playing a full bag of Yonex kit, the brand is becoming more attractive than ever.
Our test pro was taken aback by the Yonex Cyberstar Nanospeed and how it was able to hit golf shots on a penetrating flight, yet still manage to carry the ball close to 300 yards.
We reckon the Nanospeed is a classy piece of kit that would be a great option if none of our award winners gets your long-hitting juices flowing.
The 460cc head has a lightweight carbon graphite crown that’s only one millimetre thick, saving 20g of weight that can be repositioned lower and deeper to generate a higher ball trajectory with reduced spin for extra distance.

I have not played for some months, after regular playing for forty years, I decided to get back to the course. Today was my first day and with new clubs (Yonex VMass graphite shafts and the Cyberstar Nanospeed driver). The first time I used this driver, I thought I must have fluked it but after 6 drives each one perfectly on line and longer than I had ever hit with my Mac Gregor, I can only give this club the highest praise. I was hitting 250 yards and I am 71.

Great balance and feel, provides bags of confidence on narrow drives.
