Brilliant
I got my hands on one of these a couple of months back and it has revolutionised my long game. As a 'progressing' 15 handicapper I am now starting to shoot < +10 on a regular basis just because I hit it so consistently. The head shape immediatley inspires confidence with its relativley conventional shape, and despite it being a 460 it doesn't look intimidating, unlike the unweild Nike SQ which I owned previously. I would say that a good shaft makes the difference with this club though, an Aldila 'by you' proto , or a Proforce V2 is the order of the day here, although Titelist's own shafts are not to be sniffed at. This club is marketed for its 'workability' which for most golfers would mean that your power fade, upon purchase of your new 'workable' club, would worsen to the extent that the ball would probably come back to you! Saying that, for someone who is just being able to become a little more workable with shot shaping with the longer clubs it does help. For high handicappers the D1 is probably a better option, my mate has one and his driving hs improved 10 fold. To conclude, great looks, great feel, get a good shaft, enjoy!
