What we say...

Following a successful few years for the original R9, a more forgiving version was always going to do well in TG’s test. The R9 460 excelled across the board and in truth has only been prevented from bagging a gold award by some truly inspired big dogs. Leon described this as a “proper golf club” and said it was responsive and powerful out the middle of the club. He also commented that he still got a good ball flight when he didn’t quite middle it so he’d recommend it for mid-to-high handicappers as well. John was equally impressed by the power and feedback and Chris said the array of shaft options and the adjustability meant it was suitable for all players. It was also one of David’s straightest on test. This was an excellent, if not unexpected, performance from one of the real big boys in the driver market.
