TaylorMade r7 Quad HT Driver Review

TaylorMade launched the r7 Quad HT (high trajectory) driver as an extension to its popular TaylorMade r7 Quad driver. The thinking behind the theory was to offer a slightly more forgiving head that would be more suited to the golf player than the original TaylorMade r7 Quad. 

The TaylorMade r7 Quad HT has a slightly shallower face and deeper head (face to back) while maintaining the changeable weight system that allows golfers to set the golf club up to suit their particular game.

Our pro tester particularly liked the TaylorMade r7 Quad HT (although it’s worth pointing out he does have an original TaylorMade r7 in his own bag!) and commented on how long the golf ball seemed to hang in the air, increasing his overall carry distance.

The TaylorMade r7 Quad HT is well-balanced and the way that golfers have the opportunity to set the golf club up to suit themselves or the playing conditions is a big difference. The golf club was very accurate and easy to control and ultimately you just feel comfortable and confident on every golf shot. If we could buy one of these for a price that was nearer to that of the Ping G2, it would certainly have been our winner.

The TaylorMade r7 Quad HT has a Shallower, longer clubface and larger more substantial clubhead shape for higher launching drives and increased confidence.

Options: Right and Left handed
Custom-fit options: Choice of shafts, changeable weighting. By altering the weights in the head the launch conditions can be varied to suit your individual needs.
