Better Player Drivers Test Nov 2012 – Key Comments
JR: I leaked this a little to the right, but it was something I could work with as it was consistent.
DW: This felt slightly strange, and I didn’t enjoy the sound. Impressive dispersion numbers though, and solid distance.
CS: I found it hard to generate real distance, always feeling I had to chase with it. It came out pretty low too, but I was able to control the ball.
MR: Though I did like the consistent feel, it did sound a little dead. This isn’t a criticism though, more of an observation that it wasn’t as loud.
The R11S TP is bigger, faster, longer and more tunable than the original R11 TP driver. A 460cc matte-white finish head is powered by a new 5-sided ASP plate, new 1.5º FCT sleeve and movable weights. With 3D Tuning, you can independently tune loft, face angle and flight path to your swing.
