What we say...
Tech:
A sleek and aggressive design that’s aimed at all ability players say Srixon. A Cup –Face construction enlarges the sweet spot to maintain ball speeds on off centre hits. Thin wall and face thicknesses help increase energy transfer efficiency at impact.
Our verdict:
A classic looking driver with a deep face, full face grooves, no alignment aid and a beautifully shaped head that sets up brilliantly behind the ball. We couldn’t agree amongst ourselves if the head was confidence inspiring or not, but for sure if you want ultimate forgiveness Srixon’s Z 355 should be on your radar. We were really split on the 545 as it felt fantastic and performed solidly in two of our three testers hands and Simon took a real shine to the traditional looking head. Ball speed drop off was extremely tight, meaning high consistency which would make for accurate carries on the golf course.
Bottom line:
Not huge amounts of obvious technology which seems to attract golfers particularly in the driver market nowadays but there’s no denying the Z545 is a seriously good looking driver. In the right hands it will deliver decent performance to match.

Just started using this club even after 3/4 rounds still can't dial in best settings, the hosel settings are a bit confusing and for some reason weights when unlocked can be tricky to remove having said all that I have hit some real bombs it's a strange impact sound and a few times I've thought I'd mishit it but it was still out there at this moment for me it's a good club bordering on great defo should have got custom fitted.

Great look and feel. I hit it very straight, off-centre hits didn’t curve off line too much. Overall a strong performer.

Even though it’s not aimed at my swing speed, my dispersion was tight and it’s one of the best-feeling drivers on test.

Looks amazing! Feels amazing and good distance. The D5 swing weight feels like a D2 with the high balanced shaft from Mitsubishi (kuro Kage).
