What we say...
Srixon have their eyes set firmly on the forgiving driver market best in catagory prize with the launch of the Srixon Z-RW for 2008.
The conforming 460cc driver is available in everything from 8.5 to 11.5 degrees of loft and aims to improve everybody’s shots off the tee, irrespective of ability.
In the lower lofts the periphial weighting sits towards the heel to help with trajectory and shot shaping, while in the higher lofts the weight is moved around to promote a straighter shot with less distance sapping slice and hook spin.
The 4 zone face design of the Srixon Z-RW Driver also helps reduce the severity of bad shots by enlarging the sweet spot.
Prices have yet to be confirmed but expect to see the X-RW in the shops later this year.

Bought the Srixon Z-RW after have a terrible year off the tee with my Wilson Driver. I had previously had a Srixon W-403 (conforming) driver which I loved, stupidly I wanted a new driver and therefore gave it to my Dad. After using my now Dads W-403 for a month I decided to go back to Srixon, picked up a new Z-RW for £55 in the spring of 2010 and instantly gained confidence. I went from 20 to 17 in half a year. I had to buy another one for a lad I play with and his wife also wanted one after using his. I would recommend this driver to any mid to high handicaped golfer as it is forgiving and easy to open up with.

I bought one of these, having been a great fan of Srixon for several years but was very disappointed. I bought the 9.5 degree regular shafted driver but have just not been able to get on with it. The club really looks the part though and is beautifully finished. The shaft also feel great to swing (slightly stiffer than previous Srixon driver regular shafts). As my previous (and still current) driver was the Srixon 506 with 11.5 degrees of loft, I had opted for the 9.5 as I was hitting the ball very high and, I felt, losing some distance. I have been able to hit a few good shots with the Z-RW but only a few. For some reason the ball seems to come out of the heal of the club and I can do nothing to correct this. Even when I do catch the centre of the face, the feel is nowhere near as good as it is with my other driver (although the ball does go further on those occasions). I really don't know what it is, maybe it is just my swing, but I am very sad as I would love to carry it in my bag. I will keep trying as my game is improving and I need to lower my driver trajectory somehow.
