What we say...
The new Srixon WR driver looks like the perfect driver for those of you in the mid-to-high handicap range who are keen to get the golf ball more consistently into play off the tee.
The increased MOI of the Srixon WR Driver means a high launch, while the bigger sweetspot will help even off-centre hits go flying better down that fairway!
2009, Updated Model – Review
According to Srixon, the WR benefits from a new ‘power face’ which enlarges the sweetspot and increases distance. The club also features two tungsten nickel weights which lower the spin and increase launch angle. Roy loved it, giving it a five in every category. Chris liked the compact head but George struggled for distance. But Jon’s approval underlined a strong showing.
