Nike Golf VR STR8-Fit Tour Driver Review

Joel loved the smaller head and classic c-shape of the Nike and his praise didn’t end there. He liked the feel out of the middle and was able to manipulate the ball flight. Chris commented that he found it easier to work the ball left to right rather than the other way because he felt it sat quite upright at address. However, he rated it highly in all other categories. Adam got good distance from the VR STR8-Fit Tour but found it more difficult to control. In short, a great performer across the board.

2010 Review:

On arrival this was the driver most of our testers pulled out of the bag to have a look at first and there’s no doubt it’s a fantastic-looking beast! David awarded it top marks for looks and also boomed out his secondlongest drive with the VR. He felt the sound and the feel was a little harsh but other than that this was one of his favourite clubs on test. Pro Chris liked it and said this was comfortably the best driver Nike has produced. John was a fan of the more solid feel and the louder noise and said he’d be delighted to have it in his bag. The adjustability of the STR8-Fit technology was also a  inner with our panel of tinkerers!
