What we say...
The Mizuno MP600 Driver can be adjusted to as many as 15 different weight settings to accomodate players with all types of swing tendencies; slice, hook etc
Mizuno sold out of the Mizuno MX-500 driver way back in January so the launch of this the Mizuno MP600 has been eagerly awaited. Mizuno engineers thought they had the MP600 golf club pretty much sorted over 18 months ago but refinements in the look and playability have taken some serious time to perfect.
Every ounce of Mizuno golf club making expertise has gone into making the Mizuno MP600 driver perfect for the decent player. It’s traditional pear shaped round head sits squares to the golf ball at address and with a weighting system which has 15 different settings its got the ability to let the “player” tailor the golf club to their own game to enhance golf ball flight and carry distance. The Mizuno MP600 head's a forgiving 460cc design with high moi and the fact the “Fast Track” weighting system is located low and deep means lots of the overall weight is situated to make the club super forgiving. You also get a choice of 10 different custom option shafts from Mizuno’s own design’s to the latest greatest Fujikura, Aldila, Grafalloy and UST shafts on the market.
Two eight gram weights, and six weight positions make up the golf club's weighting system, and everything is easily adjusted with a simple wrench which is included in the price of the golf club. Between the 15 weight positions golfers can expect to see a variation of 13 yards of difference in golf ball flight between maximum fade and ultimate draw settings. We like the way Mizuno has deciphered how weight being positioned in different areas actually effects the amount of spin you create. Meaning if you’re a high spin player you can reduce the amount of spin created at impact and in the process add extra yards to your carry distance. Which we reckon is the ultimate custom fitting tool when it comes to tailoring the club to your own game.
Mizuno are so confident of the system being better than others on the market their organising challenge days around the UK over the coming months to pit your own driver against theirs (with a Trackman launch monitor being judge!!) in a bid to convince you to buy one. So if your interested we suggest looking out for these, when the club hits the shops in Autumn.

I boughta 9.5 with a stiff shaft from the pro at my course. Since then I have been hitting the ball straighter and with brilliant trajectory. Well worth the money!!

I am one of the lucky few to have this club so far and the wait was well worth it. I thought i might fiddle too much with the weights but after 3o straight 300yrd shots on neutral, why change!
