Pros
Performance with the clubhead heated was impressive. Battery life was lengthy, too.

Cons
The head-heating cover is part of the club’s USP, but you couldn’t use it in a comp.
What we say...
2013 Drivers Test
We tested the Lynx Boom Boom 2 in both cold and in its heated state. With the clubhead heated up, four of our five testers’ average distance increased, the average increase being 14 yards. Dispersion reduced for three of our five testers. Chris liked the crown while Joel and James felt the red finish didn’t look quite as good as the Nike Covert’s. All noted the shaft and grip felt thin and longer at set-up.
This is engineered using a mixture of ‘hot’ gases to elicit maximum performance in varying weather conditions. The innovative headcover, which heats the driver to its optimal temperature, is non-conforming, according to the R&A.

This Boom Boom 2 designed by Dr.Lu who sold original R7 design to Taylormade and used his Double face technology to make KZG became one top brand. Lynx found him to design and asked him to make Boom Boom 2, but behind him Lynx applied patent beside and only paid 70% of USD 2800 for developing this head. then copy Dr.Lu's EET as their own, which Dr.Lu applied patent in 2006. also cheating him after he sending products to Lynx without payment. Remember the red Boom Boom 2 is originally from Dr.Lu, with fiber top cover for covering volve hole. The Boom Boom 3 is totally copied Dr.Lu's EET patern. Believe, Lynx will never change Boom Boom 2 shape, otherwise EET will not work any more. UK is great country, but do any people tell us how to get our products payment of Boom Boom 2. The owner's wife is a laywer knows how to steal others technology legally. Boom Boom 3 change to screw top, because they do not know how to make net cover which is very special and absorbing vibration. shamed this uk company.
