Verdict: Tester Darren loved the slightly unfamiliar look of the head and felt the sound of the driver was powerful.

But his views weren’t universally shared by the other three, with Pro Chris particularly unimpressed by the shape of the head. The triangular-look at address and three-dot alignment aid won’t be to everyone’s taste.

The boys found the driver to be down on distance too – but, on the positive side, the IWD might be a good option if you’re new to golf and don’t want to spend a lot of money on your first driver.
