What we say...
All of our testers felt they could really go after drives with this club and still feel confident about where it was going to end up – that meant it was given the test’s highest overall rating in terms of forgiveness. It was also right up there in terms of distance and dispersion, meaning that in performance terms it was hard to beat. Even though David and John didn’t mind the look of the club, this is where it fell down with better players such as Chris and Leon, who felt it was too toed-in and a bit unconventional. Nonetheless, this is a cracking performance from the FTiZ and our panel predict this will do very well this year.

Callaway's FT-iz Driver uses Polar weighting. This sees extra weight in the face of the driver and at the back of the club. The extra weight is claimed to keep the Callaway driver stable through impact. Callaway have used a progressive shape design to reduce drag give the club increased stability and higher impact speeds. Callaway uses the Fusion thoery well in this new driver. There are different materials used in different parts of the club to move the weight to the most effective areas.

Bought a 13 deg i-mix head from the USA fitted it with a proforce V2 reg shaft at 45" can now get the height I need and the length is.better for me than the FT9 also the V" reg is stiffer than the aldila voodoo which is fitted as a factory shaft but having the i-mix gives me a chance to see the difference (for me) with different shaft combos really pleased with this purchase.
