What we say...
The Callaway Big Bertha Double Black Diamond driver is for ‘experts only’ (and named after the hardest available ski run) and the lowest-spinning BB driver of the Callaway range. It’s still 460cc, but is shorter from front-to-back and has a taller face. It also has more draw bias and a longer Gravity Core (by about 4-5mm) to generate 100rpm less spin in the “low” position.
Unique to this model and the Big Bertha Alpha 815 is the fact that the two ends of the Gravity Core are now coloured and visible through a hole in the sole so you know what position it’s in. If you see silver, it’s in the ‘low’ position, black and it’s in the ‘up’.
