What we say...
Tech:
Adams reckon the Blue has three key technologies that can transform your game. A velocity slot improves face flex and ball speed. A low back CG increases spin and speed, while slimmer shafts mean more kick at impact allowing you to launch shots into the air more aggressively.
Our verdict:
Look at the tech that’s powering the Blueon paper and its proven game improving stuff. Put that tech together with a nice rounded head shape, full face grooves (that actually are quite unusual on drivers nowadays), a pleasant non offensive blue paint job and slim tipped shafts for extra kick at impact and everything shouts real game improvement for us. The Blue was as you’d expect incredibly easy to launch and flight shots with even if it wasn’t close to being the longest or favourite for any of our three testers.
Bottom line:
By delivering such a forgiving high launching ball flight there’s less energy left for powering shots towards the target, which means for us the Blue’s only truly useful in a very specific players hands. If your game demands ultimate easy launch playability the Blue’s got it in spades.
